I think I may break out the scrapbook supplies for a while. I should be able to mess with my photos with a bum arm. Lord knows I have a ton of pictures that need to be scrapped. I have yet to print off one picture since getting my new camera a few years ago. Let’s just say… I have thousands and thousands of photos! I would love to take some baby pics and help a few friends work on their birth announcements for their babies to be. I am so excited to meet their little ones! I just wish both of them lived closer!
Do businesses still take check by phone? I rarely write checks anymore. It so much easier to just whip out the plastic to pay for things. The craziest thing, I still have to have my checkbook with me in my purse. Why? I don't know! I need to just leave it at home, and then I could put my pictures in the area where the checkbook is in my wallet. If only I had my rubber stamps and ink pads, then I could scrap a photo cover for the sleeve my pictures are in.
I love going to craft shows. They give me lots of ideas of new knitting projects I can do. Some of the booths have some really awesome cardboard displays with all of their projects they have for sale. There is one item that I am still trying to figure out how to make.
I have seen these photo frames, that have been altered with either paper or fabric, and either have them as a way to display a picture or use it as a backdrop for a wall calendar. I have an old clipboard that I want to use for a wall calendar. I am going to have my hubby take the clip part off, and then somehow add some bolts that I can take off to add a new years calendar year after year. I am hoping I can find a cute little chef that will match my kitchen decor to add to this. I just need to get my creative juices working again.
I need to get back into this. I haven't touched my scrapbooks in over a year. I don't even want to know how far behind I am. Let alone know how many pictures are waiting for me to upload to be printed.
I love this fall layout design.
I will have to see if I can get together with some friends a few Saturday's this winter to try and make a dent in my piles of pictures!
I need to get back into scrapbooking, and I am thinking about going digital. But if I do, I have so much stuff on hand that I spent lots of money one. I should just use up what I have first, then go digital. I found this site that has free kits, which will be great, as I know I won't be able to spend any money on new stuff right away.
I have so many pictures in my file cabinets, and so many more that have been uploaded. I can't believe how many pictures I have taken since getting my new camera 2 years ago! I think I have only developed a few in the last two years. I know that I will never scrap all that I have taken, so they will either just stay on the computers, or will be saved onto a CD.
So have you made the switch to digital scrapbooking? Do you like it?
