PostHeaderIcon Monkey ensemble

So now that I have given (or will have by the time this shows up on my blog) this gift to my friends baby, I can post about this.

I saw this book at Michael’s, and while flipping through it, I saw the picture of the chef sock monkey, and had to get the book. Then a thought came to mind about making monkey pants with my pattern for monster pants, and walla, the monkey ensemble!

I have many projects that I need to complete soon. Right now I am working on a very cute ensemble for a friends little guy, but I can’t divulge on what it is, as its for his birthday that is at the end of the month.

After this project is done, I want to start on some thing for my laptop, or should I say my soon to be refurbished laptops. I have been talking about either getting a new or just getting the one I have fixed. Of course, the hubby made the decision to just get the old one fixed.

Then it will be on to all the gifts I want to make for Christmas. Just hope I have enough time to get them all finished, then I can work on other things to possibly get an etsy shop going!

How cute is this bag?

I think I am going to look for some fun purple yarn and give it a try.

I like this sweater as well.

What a dreary day! Not much was accomplished today. I could have been knitting or sewing, but I have laid around, read some, surfed the internet and napped. I have some pronexin reviews to do along with a few book reviews to finish.

I received in the mail today a newsletter from Debbie Macomber, one of my favorite authors, and in it was a pattern for a baby blanket. I may have to give it a try, but need to go get some circular needles first. I hope I can finish it in a timely manner!

I have been trying to knit here and there, and finally finished this hat. It should have taken me only a day or so to complete, but the the arm, it took over 4 weeks! Yes I had been pushing it, but darn it.. I want to knit!
