I would look real nice on the deck with the patio furniture I bought last summer. Sitting out there with a good book and a nice cold drink would be heavenly.

I am waiting patiently for the annual flower sale that I go to with a friend. We both want to get some lilac bushes this year, even though my hubby and I plan on selling our house, I still want one! I love the smell of lilacs.

I want to get more flowers this year, as I want to line the sidewalk with them. I am thinking curb appeal here folks. Hubby thinks I am nuts, but hey, any way I can get the potential buyers I will do it! I am hoping my roses bloom lots this year as well. Last year they were kind of whimpy.

I want to try my hand at a garden again this year, if possible. If we can’t actually do it, I think I will get a few of those topsy turvey tomato plants I have seen advertised on TV. I love home grown tomatoes, especially for BLT’s!

I can’t wait to do some gardening! I am tired of winter!

Materials
* Carpenter’s apron (available at hardware stores)
* Pair of gardening gloves
* Fabric paints and brushes

Instructions
1. Decorate the set with fabric paints. Brush on a garden design, such as a row of bright yellow sunflowers or a bunch of carrots. Or slice an onion and a pepper into halves, dip them in the paint and embellish the set with vegetable prints.

2. Fill the pockets with seed packets, a garden trowel, and a plastic misting bottle. Use pinch-style clothespins to clip the gloves to the front of the apron when they’re not being worn.

This gardening set makes a great gift for a relative that loves to garden.

I have an idea of what I want to put on my table, I just have to figure it out and get all the supplies.  This arrangement will be with fake flowers, so I can use it year after year.  Or this cute little guy,

but I would put him on my front step I think, but then again maybe not, the last time someone put cute things on their front porch the neighborhood bullies broke them. 

I would have like to put in a little garden by my garage, but haven't had the time to put one in.  I am thinking about getting some of those tomato planters and put them one the deck.  One day I will have a bigger back yard where I can put in a real garden.  I am not one to get my hands dirty in general, but when it comes to gardening I don't mind a little dirt.  There is just something rewarding about planting seeds and watching them come to life, and then reaping the harvest.
