Dentists and yarn
As many times as I have been to the dentist in the last year and a half, you would think they would offer some kind of dental discounts! I fear I will be having more dental work in the near future, and probably will be going to see him without dental insurance, if we do go ahead with this new job situation. The money we could save I could then buy more yarn. I was just at the yarn store today and loved all of the new yarns they had. Just wish I had some extra money to actually buy some! Time to finish up some projects so I have some free cash to spend!
I am going to give my try at creating this cute little flower pot. Hoping that crocheting won't bother my tennis elbow.

Cottontail Dishtowels
GAUGE:
16 stitches = 4 in. (10 cm) in pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION:
dc3tog (Yarn over, insert hook into next st and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops) 3 times, yarn over and pull through all 4 loops on hook.

Baby afgans
I want to make lots of afgans to go on baby cribs. I have so much yarn just sitting around, that is waiting for me to whip up into some very pretty afgans! I just need to make the time to get back into knitting or crocheting. I am working on a baby afgan for my friends daughter that is due any day now! I hope I get it finished in time! I wish I could hand deliver it to her, but my hubby is being stubborn in that department, he doesn't want me to go to California.
