Dishcloth/towel topper
I finished these two items in the last few days. I taught a knitting class today, we were going to do the dishcloth, but we didn't get that far. Next class! I am using these items for a shower gift.
The dishcloth pattern:

Knitting Needles – Size 7 [4.5 mm] Finished cloth will be 9 inches
GAUGE: 20 stitches = 4 inches (10 cm) in pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
Cast on 46 sts.
