A scrappers franchise??

Posted by Jodi on Feb 10 2008 | Scrapbooking

I would love to own my own franchise one of these days. We have looked into several that appeal to me and my hubby, one being a Culver's. They have the best food! Its a step up from the other fast food chains. But what I would really like to own is a Archiver's. I went in my first one this past November, and oh my what a store! They have anything you could imagine for your scrapbooking desires!  I talked with one of the ladies there to see if there was one here in Michigan, she said there was, but its on the East side of the state. I would love to have one in Grand Rapids!

Office furniture

Posted by Jodi on Jan 09 2008 | Scrapbooking

I have been looking for some new office furniture. I would like to find a desk that is like an armoir, that I can use in my crafting area. Right now I have two tables in my living room set up in an L shape with everything all a mess. I would love to have something that would look nice, instead of the mess I have to look at all the time. When I am done scrapping, I could put everything away, and just close the doors. Oh to dream!

Scrapbook pages

Posted by Jodi on Nov 17 2007 | Scrapbooking

Today I have a friend over and we did some scrapbooking!!  I completed 10 pages (well 9.75 ~ I have to type up the class list and add it to the page).

I got Trents school scrapbook caught up to 5th grade.  I was thinking that this would be the last year in that book, as I didn't have any pictures of him in 6th grade.  But as I was digging through a stash of stuff, I found his cross country team picture and some awards and his honor roll ribbons.   So I will be able to continue for at least one more year with this book.

The next 2 pages are my sister in laws birthday

Then Thanksgiving with my brother, his wife and girls

 Then Christmas with them

Tickets

Posted by Jodi on Nov 17 2007 | Scrapbooking

I think it would be really fun to make a scrapbook page with Van Halen tickets as a way to surprise someone that they are going to go to the concert.  Then leave the second page open, but with designated spots to put pictures of the actual concert.  I am going to have to keep this in mine for any future concerts or events I go to with any of my friends or family.

Busy Saturday

Posted by Jodi on Nov 16 2007 | Scrapbooking

I don't like having mulitple checking accounts but I need to go open up a new one tomorrow so I can get our paypal account verified for our mom board.  I thought we could have two paypal accounts tied to one checking account, but apparantly not.  So my morning will be very busy before I have a friend come over so we can scrapbook all afternoon.  I am going to get my nails done as well.  I had them done last weekend while I was at Mall of America, but they have slowly chipped away. I want them to look nice again, and I always do a crappy job!

Hobby shopping getaway??

Posted by Jodi on Nov 12 2007 | knitting, Scrapbooking

I have always wanted to go to Branson, Missouri.   I should plan another girls getaway weekend here.  I will have to do some research to see if I can find some scrapbook and yarn stores so I can get some supplies for my hobbies.  While there we will have to take in some shows.  I wonder if the Osmunds will still be there if I ever get to go?

I scrapped!!

Posted by Jodi on Oct 22 2007 | hobbies, Scrapbooking

While it wasn't for me, I did get some scappin' done this weekend!! I am involved in a swap with an online message board, and this swap was to do a two page layout relating to Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Fall. I choose to do a fallish theme one. I hope Donna likes it!! I need to go get more of this background paper to do a layout for myself!
