Gift idea for next Christmas
So my father in law messed up a gift I wanted to make for him this year, but I am going to outsmart him and make him a set of golf club covers anyways, and will also include in the gift a golf garmin gps, as a joke kind of gift. Even though it will be an awesome gift, as when he and my hubby go out golfing, one if not both of them tend to lose a few golf balls that they never find.
Heck I may even get one for my hubby as well, for when he goes out with the boys. I will be on top of Christmas gifts this year!
Looking for books
I turned in all of my rewards, gift cards and Christmas money to Best Buy so I could get my Kindle Fire. I am having fun looking for all sorts of “free” items to install on it. I am just a little bummed that I can get and app for two of my favorite games, Phase 10 and Chuzzle that I play on iTouch. Its a good thing I plan on keeping that, as I need it for the gym.
I have lots of books downloaded to it, and have them arranged in order of how I want to read them. But they will have to wait, as I have a few “regular” books that I need to read first, one being the first in the series of the Hunger Games that my hubby got for me for Christmas.
I like that it has the wi fi connection, as I can connect while on break at work to surf for good deals and coupons like: wet seal coupons, as I am working on my grocery list. On my list to check out tomorrow will be to see where we could go to get a side of beef, or even a 1/4. I want to fill up our freezer with the better cuts of meat, all while finding the best deal out there! Saving money is my number one goal!
The sickies
The sickies have re-invaded our house, only this time they have decided to make Trent its victim. He has missed the whole week of school, and has been down and out all week. Last night I started to get a little worried about dehydration, as he hasn’t ate anything all week, and what little he has drank has come right back up. I need to find a suede upholstery cleaning austin system to use to try and clean our furniture now.
Off to the doctor we went today. He was diagnosed with the flu, and if he couldn’t keep a certain amount of fluids down over the next two hours we were to do to the ER. Before we left the Doctors, he was given a shot of Phenegran to help with his nausea and vomiting.
Thankfully he has been able to keep everything down that I have given him so far. His cough has seem to gotten a little worse, but he refused to take the Nyquil as he doesn’t want to go to sleep right now. But sleep is what he needs. I hope we don’t have any relapses overnight as I don’t want to make a trip to the ER.
So now with all of the other busyiness I have going on this month, with my new job and getting everything ready for Christmas I need to try and clean the living room furniture. Now is when I am wishing I would have went with the scotch guard, but you live and learn right!?!
Running your own company

Running your own business is tough enough as it is but I had a rash of people quitting and leaving right off the bat. None of them were really my fault though because it was personal circumstance that couldn’t have been helped but it sure did put me in a pickle because I had no idea what I was doing. I had to figure out what I needed from www.smallbusiness.xo.com without any help and I had to set up my entire tax structure, too. It sure would be nice to have an accountant! But anyway, I feel better now about being able to run all the aspects of my business and I know that it’s good for me to at least know what is going on when I’m not around. I’ve been able to hire a couple of people part time which has really alleviated my stress and I’ve finally been able to take back my weekends and not be so stressed all the time. Who would have guessed I’d be doing this?
