So tired
After a fun night of dinner and drinks, I am one tired gal. I have a lot to get done today too! Knitting, baking, taking the birthday boy out to dinner, laundry and some light house cleaning. Just wish I had a Tourmaster Solution 2 to do all of my busy work, as I would just love to lounge around all day and just knit!
I can’t get started on too much right now, as the hubby has the gas turned off so he can fix some valve on the water heater. Hopefully its a quick fix, as the boys need to get up and get in the shower so we can go out to eat!!! I am starting to get very hungry!
Valentine’s Day
Did you get anything special from your loved ones? Last week I got the pleasure of getting a manicure and pedicure, so that was my special something!
For the guys in my life, I made them steak for dinner….well had it planned for them, and had Trent make it as I had to work. I was hoping that they would make one for me when I called to let them I was leaving work, but no suck luck. They thought was was left (from what they didn’t eat) would be good enough for me to reheat… Nice! So my night didn’t go as I had planned, and now I am the bad guy, as I am a little upset, but do you blame me?
The rest of my evening I had to go digging for an old car title loans Arizona that John had from when he lived in Arizona. Who would have thought he would need this from when he lived there in the 80′s. Hopefully we can find what they want/need. I think I am going to put off looking for it until the morning, as I am tried, and quite frankly a little ticked off. So its of to bed for me!
Night all!
Singing along to the classic Grease tunes
Guest post written by Gloria Sherman
I remember when I was in high school my friends and I went and saw the movie Grease and I thought that it was the best thing that I had ever seen in my life! I guess that it was kind of surprising and ground breaking, at least it seemed that way to me. So I’ve always kept the movie dear to my heart as a result. So when I heard that our local community theater was going to put on a production of the play, I decided to take advantage of it.
I looked onlien to get some more information on the community production of the play and whiel I was doing that, I ran across some information on miracle ear texas. I looked through it a little bit and after that I decided to go and get a free hearing test and get fitted with some hearing aids after I got hte results back.
I took my daughter to go and see the play with me and I thin kthat she really loved it. She’d seen Grease before, but I don’t think that she fully appreciated it until now!
Words with friends
So I have found myself being sucked back into playing games on facebook. This time its Words with Friends. I am starting to get obsessed with it like all of the other games I have played. I see lots of letters in my sleep: “kdalesabqurxt” and try to unscramble them to see what words I can come up with, and where I can fit them in on the boards. This is not what I want my sleep consisting of! I would much rather just have a peaceful nights sleep. Especially after the last two weeks of fitful sleeps I have had, due to the steroids the DR put me on from the allergic reaction I had.
With that said, I am off to go play a few rounds with friends, then it will be off to bed.
Things of the past
We were talking last night at dinner, about things the kids liked when they were younger. Still unsure of how we got on this topic, but it was fun. Christopher mentioned how he liked yo-yo’s and how he always wanted to go to the yoyofactory to see how they made them. Trent pipes up and says, we can sent in a request to “How Its Made” to see if they will do a segment on yo-yo’s. Ya never know, as he did send in a request a while back to see how paddle locks were made, and they did grant that one.
So this got me into the search mode, so I went looking at things from my past on Pinterest of course! And the next thing I knew 3 hours had went on by. Such a time waster, but a fun way to pass the night away, while they watched football.
