I have been enjoying the quiet in the house, while I have been knitting and internet browsing, then some debt collection agency has been blowing up my home phone! They keep calling for an Elnora Brooks. How many times do I have to tell them that no one by that names lives here! I have to admit, I cursed myself, as I mentioned her name the other day, and it has come back to bite me in the butt!

So I have done some digging and found and address and a phone number, so the next time I get a phone call for her, I am going to give them the info! I am so tired of being harrassed by these people!

Now back to my quiet house, for a little while anyways; Trent is just about done with work, and I will have to pick him up.

I have lots of baking that I want to do today, so I need to get off of the computer and get crackin’!

Have you all checked out Pinterest? yet. Its such an addicting site, but so much fun! I have found lots of great new recipes I want to try out, as well as lots of fun crafts just waiting for my to give it a try.

I could spend hours on this site, just looking and pinning away. But, oh wait, I already do! Just another site to add to my ever growing list of addictions!

But for now, I am logging of, as I need to get into the kitchen!

Why oh why does good make-up have to be expensive? I want to try out Bare Minerals, but just can’t justify the cost right now. I was browsing online to see if there is other mineral make-up out there that is comparable, but everything is right around the same price. Guess I am going to have to get a part time job so I can afford some of the oro gold cosmetics.

But for now I will stick with the usual brand I get at my local store.

Yep, Sunday’s are usually family time, and this past Sunday we headed over to the inlaws. John and Trent had spent the last few days over there, working on the guitar, and also being put to work, as my father in law is struggle with his health again. So Sunday I went over as well, more so to hang out with my mother in law, and to indeed make sure my father in law didn’t do to much, as the guys just weren’t enforcing the “take it easy” part on my father in law.

I helped with some of the cleaning in the basement, and came across some avo cigars, that they had no idea where they had come from, or how they got into the box of videos. Strange! I asked my father in law, if he was sure it wasn’t one of his impulse buys, that he has seemed to make alot of lately, and then just tucked it away for later!?!? He didn’t think that was too funny.

We made a dent in the basement, but have more to do, so I am thinking we will be heading over there again this coming weekend.

Yesterday started out rather strange. I was in the bathroom getting ready for my day, when the lights flickered, then I heard a very strange noise, kinda like that scene from “A Christmas Story” with Ralphie, with their broiler/furnace acting up. It stopped, and the lights were ok. Then I heard lots of sirens, coincident? Maybe, but not sure. I checked the clocks in the bedroom to see if they needed to be reset, but they were ok.

I had to run up to the hospital to drop off a ticket to a friend so we could go see a pre-screening of “Footloose”, and when I got back home, we had no power. What!?!? I went back outside to see if my neighbor had power, and they were out as well.

The cause of this power outage…. someone hit a pole. Next thing I knew I heard Aero Med, otherwise known as: air ambulance service. So it must have been pretty bad to get Aero involved, as the hospital is literally 5 minutes from my house.

So I sat in a dark, quiet house yesterday for a couple of hours knittint, (which I got alot done!!) I would have had my iPod going, but like a dummy I forgot to charge it the night before. The phone is still not working properly, but that’s a good thing, then all of those pesky callers will leave me alone!
