A new challenge
After tonight’s busy night at work, with all of us tripping over medical carts and each other, I am ready to try and tackle this next challenge in my knitting. After wearing my new socks I finally completed yesterday,
I have been asked to make a pair for a fellow coworker. I have to be quicker this time around, so hopefully I don’t have any other distractions, (ie Christmas) get in the way, so I can complete them in a few weeks! If only I didn’t have this part time job…
Craft to do list
I have a long list of crafts that I want to make, if only I had time! This part time job, ach rules my life right now. If only the hours were for earlier in the day, then I think I could find the time to craft!
My list:
- Knit items
socks (just about have the first pair done, so excited!)
baker sock monkey
stuffed elephant
hats
fingerless gloves/mitts
slippers
sweater (style to be determined)
- Scrapbooking
Get caught up, with what pictures I have printed thus far, then to tackle the thousands upon thousands that need to be printed.
- Jewelry
Button bracelet (saw on Pinterest)
One day I will be able to just sit and craft!
Gift idea for next Christmas
So my father in law messed up a gift I wanted to make for him this year, but I am going to outsmart him and make him a set of golf club covers anyways, and will also include in the gift a golf garmin gps, as a joke kind of gift. Even though it will be an awesome gift, as when he and my hubby go out golfing, one if not both of them tend to lose a few golf balls that they never find.
Heck I may even get one for my hubby as well, for when he goes out with the boys. I will be on top of Christmas gifts this year!
Wash clothes
This is on my knitting agenda for the week. I have been asked to make 15 wash clothes for a bridal shower for this weekend. I have 7 done, and so hoping that I can finish up the remainder 8 by then! I will have to put everything else on hold and start saying no to other things for the rest of the week. If I only didn’t have to go to work for 4 hours every night! I am going to do the rest of them, in a very generic pattern, so it will go much quicker.
Wish me luck!
