Need some extra play money
I need to get busy with my crafts, so I can get set up for some craft shows, as I really want some play money! I have the green eyed monster look going on, as I really, really, really want either a Nook Color or a Kindle! I said I would never go that route for reading books, but it seems to be the latest craze, and I want to join in.
I am going to have to look into diamonds international reviews to see if I can find some place that will buy my loose diamond. This will kick start my “I want to spend” account.
I also need to get some pictures of a few items I want to list on craigslist, this won’t be play money, as it will be all put into savings. I have got to get that built back up! I may even try a little harder to find a part time job that will work with the hours I need.
Changes
I have changed up my background for my blog once again. I wanted one that would allow me to have tabs at the top. I want to set up a mini, if you will, store for items I have knitted and or crafted, without going the etsy shop route. I will be adding things as I go, and try to find pictures of past items I have made to add as well. You can find it via the 4 Sale tab at the top of my blog.

Cleaning up the craft room
Lately my craft room has been a catch all room for just about anything. I need to get in there and clean it up and get back to crafting! I think I have even saw some of the kids sports trophies that have been tucked away in my closet, when I was going through some boxes of things I put in there for any future “craft shows”. Boys!
I have a lot of projects I want to tackle over the next few months, so I can have a stash of things for some craft shows I would like to be in. I just hope that I can fit everything in with my busy schedule now that I will be going back to school.
Reading
I have been reading alot lately. I need to replenish my stack of books, and get my list going again at the library. Just wish I could reserve them at the library of my choice! The book I just finished, had some strange words in it, as it was a book about the Amish. Kinda made me want to start making up my own words for things, like I have done in the past… how’s this one: apidextra. Kinda sounds like its an appendage or something.
So tomorrow its a trip to the library to find one for a quick read, and then search online to find the ones on my list to put on hold.
Starting early
I always say that I am going to get a jump on my Christmas gifts, and usually I procrastinate and then have to cram everyone of them in last minute. But this year, I am going to do it. I don’t want to be rushed, as that is when I tend to make mistakes.
I want to try my hand at some sewing projects, as I want to learn more about my sewing machine, and if I have to take some classes then I will. I saw some “adult bibs” at a craft show this past summer, so I want to try and make a few of them to have on hand when we are at the inlaws for family dinners when spaghetti is on the menu, so the towel/bibs don’t have to come out.
I am thinking about getting my inlaws some barska binoculars, as the ones they have now don’t do a great job for them. They are really into bird watching now, so I think this will be a great present for them.
For both my hubby and father inlaw I want to make some golf club covers. I have been talking about doing this for a few years now, so this is the year I will get them made! (I hope!)
