Some projects

Posted by Jodi on Oct 03 2008 | crochet, knitting

I have been knitting/crocheting like crazy again!  I have made several dishcloths, and a towel topper.  I am working on some hats, scarves and mittens to donate to a local shelter via my church.  These items I can whip out pretty fast.

Baby afgans

Posted by Jodi on May 11 2008 | crochet, knitting

I want to make lots of afgans to go on baby cribs. I have so much yarn just sitting around, that is waiting for me to whip up into some very pretty afgans!  I just need to make the time to get back into knitting or crocheting.  I am working on a baby afgan for my friends daughter that is due any day now!  I hope I get it finished in time!  I wish I could hand deliver it to her, but my hubby is being stubborn in that department, he doesn't want me to go to California.

I need to learn to make one of these!

My sister in law is the best! She crocheted me this lovely afgan for Christmas. I would love to be able to do this as well. So far I have only mastered small projects while crocheting. I can see me trying to do an afgan only to have it not be even in width the more rows I do.

Kitchen towel topper

Posted by Jodi on Nov 27 2007 | crochet

I had my sister in law show me once again how to start a towel topper pattern for kitchen towels.  I completed this one on Thanksgiving. I actually started the next one without having to call her to talk me through it.  On this one I have to sew on the button yet.  I went to a craft show today and got an idea what to do with them for some Christmas gifts!  They are so fast and easy to do!!
