Christmas in August with buy dot com

You all have heard the saying “Christmas in July”, well I have changed it to August. I have been getting all of my gifts, whether it be in hand or planning out what I am going to be getting or making for loved ones this month. Our budget will be tighter than before, as I am phasing out my daycare business. Its time for a change, so I am scouting out all the sales and getting ready.

Its always the hardest to buy for my inlaws, as if they want and or need something they just go out and buy it. I think for my mother in law I am going to get her a digital photo frame. Its something she doesn’t have, and I know it would be something she wouldn’t go out and by for herself.

I have plenty of pictures that I could download to the memory stick. It will be another one of those gifts that makes her cry. My sister in law and I are good at making her cry over gifts. I have other things planned for her as well, just need to finish them up. I will have lots of time after this Friday. I will be a non working lady then! So excited!

I am having a hard time trying to figure something out for my father in law. He is the hardest to shop for, and the one who gives us the hardest time when we buy him things. I may have to dig deep into my knitting bag to find just the right pattern that will “WoW” him!

Wonder if it would go over in my house?

Italian tacos that is. Not sure if it sounds all the appealing to me, but ya never know.

Baby toys

I have been searching patterns to make some cutesy baby toys, for all the up coming babies for a few friends of mine.

School shopping

I wish we had the list for Trent’s classes, as I am sure there will be some funky Forex risk calculator on this list for his math class. We have to wait until the 30th to see what he needs. I have been doing some pre shopping, as the sales have started and I don’t want to run into any problems like last year of not being able to find what he needs. I am saving the receipts, then if he doesn’t need them, then I can take them all back. I so hate this time of year. I still have to have him try on his jeans to see if we need to go shopping for some. I am dreading the shoe shopping, as he is so picky!
