Knits ~n~ Purls ~n~ More

I finished the caplet I was working on.   I plan on wearing this for my Christmas parties this year.  I am going to try and lower the top button, if I can figure out how to close up the top button hole.

Why oh why can't winter boots ever be on sale? We spent a small fortune tonight, but we needed boots! Hubby is going to have to put in some overtime this week, so I can fill the void in our weekly budget. I still have some Christmas shopping to, thankfully I have one more paycheck, and he has 2 before Christmas. It would really be nice if he got a nice bonus (after many years of not getting one), then I could surprise him with a flat screen TV. I would like a bigger TV, and I am sure the boys would too.

While this would be a nice present under the tree, I am thinking it is going to have to wait until tax time. I will stick to the small ticket items for the guys. I have a gift in mind that will be a duplicate one for each of them, just need to go out and buy the items and find some sort of basket to hold all of it in.

I still have some homemade items to make.  Its getting to be crunch time, so I need to get cranking them out.  I have put reading on hold for now, thankfully all the books have been returned to the library.  So I am off to go knit for the rest of the night.
