Shopping and projects
Black Friday shopping, are you going? Is there anything special that will be on sale that you "have" to have? I am thinking about getting a bluray player, but still have some researching to do first. Is it really all that great? Do we really need it?
I have most of my shopping done for Christmas, which is so nice! I hate last minute shopping! I just need to get busy and complete all my projects I am working on for gifts! Hopefully I get them all done on time! I may have to rethink 3 things, and do something different, as I know I can get them done on time. We shall see what I do.
Thanksgiving dinner
Do you know what you will be making? We will be going to the inlaws… I talk her into doing a tradtional Thanksgiving dinner every year, as I am so tired of having spaghetti every time we go there for dinner. Of course there will be spaghetti, as my father in law won't have it any other way. I will be making the sweet potatoes, and for once don't have to make the green bean casserole!
I will be making my own Thanksgiving dinner the day after as well! I want to have lots of leftovers! Mmmm Turkey!
Hubby's work gave them all a turkey this year. That's a first! Wish they would have let them know this a little early, as I had already bought my turkey! Oh well. We now have one in the freezer for the next time I plan on making one!
I just need to get stuff to make a pumpkin pie, then I will be all set for my dinner.
A couple of projects
While browsing a new site, Planet Purl, this morning I found a couple of things I want to work on next. Well, not next, next, but probably after Christmas.

R & R
I am ready for some R & R! I have been working on so many projects lately, I just need a break! If I could find some great myrtle beach hotel deals, I would take off in a heart beat! If only the weather along the coast would cooperate, it would be a nice get a way weekend! I don't know if I can wait until March to get away, but that may be when we will have some free time, so I guess I will get back to my knitting and keep dreaming of a nice vacation away with my hubby!
Projects on the horizon
Now that Trent is busy making me a charging valet for the phones and camera batteries, I think its time for my hubby to make me something. I want one of those hand dryers/ curling iron rack. I want to get a new bathroom vanity and the particular one I want won't leave me room on the counter to leave the iron and straightener out. Hopefully I can tear him away from making his guitar long enough to do this for me.
