I keep browsing Lion Brand's site for different knitting patters.  Not that I have time to start any new projects, as I have enough on my plate, but really like this shrug!

With it being purple it caught my eye!

During breakfast this morning, Trent had the ads from the paper and was looking at workout equipment. He is wanting his dad to expand their stuff. He was looking at a dip machine but wasn't sure about it. So he and his dad hopped online and did some research. So nice to have a computer handy for things like this! You don't have to leave the house to check things out anymore. Everything is available at your finger tips!

I love sales and especially if you can use store coupons to even further the discount you can get on an item! I ventured out on the busiest shopping day of the year. Yeah, me, can you believe it? I got everything I set out to get too! I had to upgrade the MP3 player I had planned on getting Trent, but that's ok, it was only $10 more than I was willing to spend. He is going to like this one, as it has the touch screen capability.

I need to get things for my hubby and stocking stuffers then I will be pretty much done except for the items I am making.  Pretty soon it will be time to drag out the tree and all the decorations.  I may go light this year, as I am planning on buying all purple ornaments and not put out all of my animated items.

I stocked up on some wool yarn.  I have a feeling I will be requested to make some  more of the fingerless gloves.  So I grabbed a few colors, and a skein of purple so I can whip up a pair for myself to go with my new coat.  I wish they had a vargrated color of purples, but I guess the solid purple will have to do.  Just hoping that my arm will hold out a little longer so I can finish up my projects.  Wish me luck!

What do you get or make for the person that has everything? I am stuck on this one as I am every year! My father in law is so hard to shop for, and always tells us that we don't need to get him anything. But I just can't NOT get him anything! I was going to knit him some golf club covers, but he went out and bought some not to long ago! If he had a jeep I would get some jeep accessories, but he drives a Chevy. Maybe I can get him some car wash coupons, as I don't think he will be up to washing his truck this coming summer, as he is still struggling with his strength.
