Computers and Cameras
I am in need of a new laptop. Mine is so slow and it seems like I am always having to fight with Trent to use it. It would be nice to have a 3rd computer in the house. Hopefully the sales start soon. I have seen a pink one, but I really want a purple one. So the search is on. If I was really nice I would buy a couple of them so then each one of us would have our own computer.
I am still holding out for another camera lens. I would like a stablizer one, as I am so very shaky when taking pictures. I would really like to take some classes to learn more about my camera, so I can start making money. I have done a few photo shoots of friends kids, but need to learn more. The whole ISO lighting feature has me so very confused. Once I get the hang of it, then I will want to have some photo software so I can play around with the pictures to enhance them and what not.
Time to save up or better yet, just tell Santa that I have been a really good girl this year!
Button Front Caplet
This will be on my list to complete. I have the pattern and bought the yarn tonight. As soon as I am done with the gloves/hats/scarves and towel toppers, this is next! I would like to have it down before Christmas.
Halloween costumes
Are you ready for Halloween? I am not big into decorating for Halloween, but like going out with the kids for trick or treating. I am going again this year with my friend and her kids. I have thought about dressing up, but not sure what I want to be. I don't want to spend alot, so I have been looking to see who has the best sale. I don't want anything to scary or to sleezy, after all I will be with some little kids.
I was thinking of maybe being a witch. I have a few things already, just need to get a broom and a wig. I would wear some black leggins underneath to keep warm, as it never fails to be cold and rainy on Halloween. The only thing that will be uncomfortable will be my boots, as they have a heel, and we will be doing lots of walking. Oh well!
I finally found a mask for Trent to wear, as the one he has doesn't stay on his face, as he lost the hair part that helped keep it on. I was having a hard time trying to figure out how to make it work. Thankfully this one wasn't all that expensive.
What are you kids going to be for Halloween? You only have one week to go!

Like I have time to make some ornaments! I have so many projects to do between now and Christmas I don't know if I will have time to make this, but I am going to try! It looks easy enough, heck it could even be fun to make a few for gifts as well.. guess I had better start knitting!
Wood working
Time to work on my hubby's building skills. I would like for him to do some altering on our entertainment center, so we can borrow my oldest's TV. Our center is just a hair to narrow for his TV, so if he could just cut down the shelves for the stereo it will work just fine. Otherwise I am on the hunt for a good sale for a new center. I should make sure this will fly with the oldest. It would be really nice to watch TV on a flat screen, and one that is bigger than what we have now! I bet even the video games would be a lot nicer as well!
For now my hubby is busy in the basement working on his latest guitar. He has gotten quite clever in making his "poor man" tools. We joke about this, but hey when you strapped for cash, you do what ya got to do to get the job done.
I wish he would try to attempt to make his own acuostic guitar. He has been reading up on this, so someday it will happen. This is one hobby of his, that I am still hoping it turns into a money making job for him He is good at what he does, and makes beautiful guitars!
