Time to start thinking about Christmas
Don't shoot the messenger! I'm just sayin is all! I have gifts in mind for some that I am exchanging gifts with , but now have to find the time to make the gifts. The boys, I am still unsure of what I am doing this year. Thankfully my mother in law didn't have to deal with their senior term life insurance, as my father in law is still here. This sickness took a toll on all of us. As soon as I finish up the scarf I am making for myself I will dive into all the projects on my to do list.
Tuesday’s at the Table #2

I just found this meme and decided to participate in it. I am always looking for new recipes and what better place to find some than at a fun meme. If you want to join in then head on over to here to link up! Happy Tuesday!
Mini Meatloaves

3/4 cup milk
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup quick cooking oats
1 teaspoon salt
1 pound ground beef
2/3 cup ketchup
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the egg, milk, cheese, oats and salt. Add the ground beef, mixing well, and form this mixture into eight miniature meatloaves. Place these in a lightly greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
3. In a separate small bowl, combine the ketchup, brown sugar and mustard. Stir thoroughly and spread over each meatloaf.
4. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes.
Diets
I have seen some pretty disturbing videos out there on fast food items, that make me never want to eat at any of my favorite places again! Its no wonder everyone is trying to find the best diet pills to help aid them in weight loss. I am going to try and use some sort of aid, along with watching what I eat, some exercise and drinking lots of water! I have all but cut out pop from my diet, there are those times that a Coke is just needed! ya know!?
I have stocked up on lots of healthy snacks, and have some healthy recipes to try out this coming week! So here's to good eating!
Kids
I just love how the "adult" children still think its up to mom and dad to foot the bills! My oldest is wanting to get some acne treatments, and wants us to pay for them. Um, sorry, but you are not a working man who decided you no longer wanted to go to college. This was your decision, therefore you are no longer on our health insurance.
He's not liking that mom won't give in on this one. His face would look so much better if he would just stop smoking! Such a nasty habit he has right now! He's now starting to rethink this whole not going to school thing! Maybe he will pick up some classes this winter!
Aggrivation
Last night I was busy knitting away while watching TV, yes I can do this no problem. But when you throw in a phone call from Comcast's call center services it totally messed me up. I had put down my knitting, took the call, kinda got into it with the person, as they argued with me about when I paid my bill. Sorry mister, it shows that it had cleared my account last Friday! I picked up the needles and carried on, only to realized I did the same row twice and lost some stitches. I tried to correct it, but it didn't work and with this particular pattern there was no way for me to rip out a few rows without totally messing it all up, so I had to rip it all out and start over. Which put me in a mood, so I said forget it and would just start it over in the morning.
Now have I started it yet, nope. Today was grocery day, then we were going to go to the beach. The weather didn't cooperate with us, so we had our lunch at a park and let the kids play. I will be starting the scarf again in a little while.
