Systems
POS systems. Have you heard of this? I haven't, so I had to do some investigating. It is for retail merchants to go mainstream with their cash registers. They can switch over to computerized systems. Now that I have read about it, I have noticed that most places have done this all ready. Its funny when Trent sees a really old cash register, and thinks that it is ancient. I have to remind him that some of them aren't that old, as I have worked on some like that. He just laughs and says, "Well mom… you are old." Kids!
BUTTERSCOTCH RICE KRISPIE TREATS
I think this is what I am going to make for camping this week. I have everything on hand (or at least I hope so.)
1 cup Butterscotch chips
1/3 cup Peanut butter
4 tablespoons Margarine
2 cups Mini marshmallows
3 cups Rice Krispies
In a saucepan over low heat, combine chips, peanut butter and butter. Stir constantly until melted and well blended. Remove from heat. Add marshmallows and cereal, stir until well coated. Press firmly into lightly greased 9" square pan. Refridgerate until firm. Cut into squares.
Directories
They have a really cool directory list and maps of the hospital now that are computerized. We were checking it out last night, its the little things that amuse me and my hubby. We could have used one of the maps today, as we got all turned around when we were trying to go back up to my father in laws room today. We found it evenutally. We weren't that far off.
Dish towel
I have to see if my sister in law can make this for me. I can do some crocheting, but not good enough, in my book.
Cottontail Dishtowels
GAUGE:
16 stitches = 4 in. (10 cm) in pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION:
dc3tog (Yarn over, insert hook into next st and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops) 3 times, yarn over and pull through all 4 loops on hook.
NOTES:
1) Yarn amount is sufficient for one of each Dishtowel.
2) Stripe Sequence is worked once for each Dishtowel.

Back to school
These last three weeks seeing my father in law in the hospital makes we want to go back to school. I have been looking at online MBA's to see if there is anything I would like to go into. The courses here are all accredited for an MBA and are ranked in the top 15 of by the Princeton review. I like that they have lots of classes that are offered online, as that is the way I would like to go. I don't think I could handle taking classes with all the younger kids on a regular campus. They have payment options that I like as well. This in one of my biggest worries of going back to school, will we be able to afford me going back. I know that I wouldn't be able to continue with my daycare, so money is a huge thing right now in my decision making process.
So many things to think about. But I am leaning towards going back to school, and it will be in healthcare. I may have not worked in the field for some time, but being in the hospital all this time has made me miss it.
