I have a list of 13 things I want to knit this year (and probably more)

1. Erin’s scarf (just started) **done**
2. A new scarf for me (bought a new coat, so need a scarf to match) **decided that the one I have matches well enough, so skipping this one**
3. Fingerless gloves for me **done**
4. Baby blanket **started last night**
5. Baby booties
6. Baby hat
7. Socks (I think I figured this out, so I need to give it a try)
8. Design a square with a heart on it, to enter in a contest.
9. Maybe a hat for myself
10. A sweater (saw a cute one in one of my new magazines that looks easy enough.. *maybe*)
11. A cute handbag (it’s felted, something I want to learn)
12. A new hat for Trent
13. And last but not least an afgan with all the surplus of yarn I have. (I have soooo much, 3 rubber maid tubs full… yikes!)

I am going to be busy!!

The scarf (forgot to take a pic of it when it was completed, but had this one when it was still on the needles and almost done.)

John is getting ready to start another guitar. He just order the parts he needs, and they should be here any day now. Tomorrow he is going to cut out the body, there will be 3 parts to this one so he is going to have to get his dads industrial clamps to use when he glues them together. This is the only part in the guitar making process that I have a hand in, as I have to help hold the wood while he is clamping it tight. This guitar is for his nephew, and will be pretty neat looking when he gets it done.

The economy isn't looking very good here in Michigan (or any other state in the US), so I am thinking I might go back to school. I am still unsure of what I want to do. I am thinking either cosmetology or back into the medical field. I had went through a medical assistant training school some years back, so I know I can do it again.  This time I think I might focus on the clerical ends of Medical Assisting.  I would love to work in an office again.  I have loved my time being home with the boys, but I miss having adult interaction.

I am trying to find a place to go for our anniversary next month. If its in our budget I would like to go away for a long weekend to someplace warm. I have been looking at some Outer Banks rentals to see if it might work. My hubby wants me to take up golfing so we can do this together, so maybe we could do this on the weekend we go away.  I may let him do a round or two by himself, while I sit and soak up some sun and knit.  But, if I do this with him, then he will have to sit on the beach and watch sunsets with me! I need to find the perfect rental so we can head south

The weather has been so dry here lately, my skin itches so bad. I have found that the more I touch my face, the more I break out. I wish there was a miracle acne treatment out there that isn't a drying one. Between using the creams and all the lotions you would think that my face would be soft and full of moisture!  I am tempted to give the stuff my oldest has been using.  It seems its working for him, maybe, just maybe it will work for me.
