These look simple enough to make, and cute at that!

Salty pretzels combine with sweet chocolate for these fun treats that make a yummy gift few can resist. (In fact, you may want to make some extras for yourself!)

RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
    Bite-size, waffle-shaped pretzels
    Hershey's Kiss or Hershey's Hug
    M&M's candy

1. Heat the oven to 170º. Set a number of bite-size, waffle-shaped pretzels (one for each treat) in a single layer on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, then top each pretzel with an unwrapped Hershey's Kiss or Hershey's Hug.

2. Bake for 4 to 6 minutes (the white chocolate will melt more quickly), until the chocolates feel soft when touched with a wooden spoon. Remove the cookie sheet from the oven and quickly press an M&M's candy into the center of each Kiss.

3. Allow the treats to cool for a few minutes, then place them in the refrigerator to set, about 10 minutes. Place handfuls of the candies in clear plastic bags and tie on colorful ribbons.

For the next month I am looking at recipes for healthy cooking. I am going to be starting a biggest loser on a message board, that will run through Christmas. I want to be in shape and eat well before all the parties we will be attending.   If I get a head start on it now, maybe by Christmas I will be able to stay away from all the sweets and won't pack on all those unwanted pounds.

So do you have any healthy recipes you are willing to share?  I know going to my favorite site, Paula Deen will not be an option for the next month, as she loves to cook with butter.

Our kitchen faucet is acting up. I think something my be clogged in it. I don't want to get a new one, as I really love the design of it. Its alot like these bar faucets.  My hubby has been looking at other styles, but I am not sold on any he has found. I told him we have to wait until after the holidays to purchase a new one.  Maybe by then I can work on him to take ours off and see if there is anything in it.   I am thinking that it might be little parts of the pipe that shattered in the water heater, that made its way through the lines, as we did find some in our bathroom faucet and that is up on the 3rd floor.

I finished two of the fingerless gloves I was commissioned to make.  One was for a man, so there is no "mitt" to go with his.  And the other was for a little girl, so the "mitt" was added.  They didn't take long to make, and turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself.  I will add a picture of them a little later.  My camera and laptop are having connection issues right now.  Grrr

I was given the opportunity to review this rc helicopters. I was pleased when it arrived and I saw that it was purple, my favorite color! There wasn't any instruction in the box, so we had to estimate how long to charge the battery.  I like that we can fly this helicopter indoors, as right now its snowing at my house, so its not any fun to be outside for any length of time.

The guys tried it out, and had some fun with it for a little while.  The helicopter doesn't hold a charge for very long, they were lucky to get two minutes of fly time, if at all.  Most of the time it would just spin in circles or fly backwards.  My son is having more fun teasing the cat with it than flying it.
