Baking Season…

… is fast approaching. I need to go through my recipes to see what I want to bake this holiday season. I know my mother in law will want to have my sweet potato pie. I have my list of cookies that are a must! Peanut Blossoms, the sugar cut out cookies, candy cane cookies.  John is ready for a homemade apple pie, which I am hoping to make in the next few weeks, as I am planning a trip to the apple orchard with some friends.

Cruise anyone?

Have you been on any cruises? This is something I would love to do, but my hubby isn't a fan of ships of any kind.  I am going to see if my best friend from high school would like to take an all girls cruise one of these days.  I think a Carribbean one would be lots of fun!  I would have to make sure I have lots of patches for my dizziness, as I am sure that the rocking on the water would mess me up.

Exercise

I think I finally found my extreme fat burner!! The elliptical machine! The first time I tried one of these machines I hated it. But this time, I am liking it, not during the first few minutes on the machine, but once I get past that, I am fine!

I told John that I need to start saving up so I can get one! I have been working out at Fit Zone for the last week and a half, and finally seeing some results. I have a week to go then the trial period is over. I wish they didn't charge as much as they do, and make you commit for a year. I would sign up in a heart beat if we could do this on a month to month basis!

I need to get more

I am breaking out again! I so do not like this. I need to find the right acne cream for me! I am ready to make an appointment at the doctor's to see what they recommend! I don't like how my body is changing the older I get!  I have noticed that my oldest is breaking out again too.   I need to find something for him as well.  I know what he wants, but that didn't work in the past for him, but you can't reason with a twenty year old!

Going on a trip

Christopher is thinking about going on a missions trip with our church to Africa. If he does, he needs to start saving, and finding donations for this. Then he has to go get all the shots, and there are quite a few, and costly ones as well. Luckily he doesn't need to get a passport, as he has that already from when he went to Jamaica not to long ago. I would love to be able to go on this trip as well, but that's a lot of money right now, and with me not working, there is just no way possible.

Are you ready?

HDMI cable?? Have you went out and bought any yet? I know that my oldest was going to, so he could get his xBox to work, but I don't think he has done this as of yet.  I still have some updated to do in order for our TV's to be ready when they make the switch in February.  In doing this, I think we will get the cable hooked up to the boys' TV's as well.  It would just make it easier all around if we all had a TV to watch, so there is no fighting over who gets to watch what and when.

My favorite lil guy

Off to the park to day, got a few good shots. He let me know when he was done.

He’s saying “One more”

Blowing me a kiss

He was done

Insurance

Christopher just bought a new car and got to have the pleasure of doing some auto insurance comparisons. He didn't like the results he got, but that's what happens when you are still a young guy, and have a few tickets. We tried talking him out of buying the car, but you can't talk a 20 year old out of anything.  He was set on getting this car.  Hopefully he will be able to swing the car payment as well as the monthly insurance as I won't be able to help him out if he gets in a bind, as I am not working right now.
