Knits ~n~ Purls ~n~ More

I need to find the one diet miracle to help me lose this last 14 pounds! I have cut out my pop intake, cut back on my snacking but nothing is helping! I am ready to try any kind of diet drug out there. I have been reading up on Orovo and might give this one a try.  Not only will it help with the weight loss, it will help with the lovely wrinkles I have been seeing creep up.  I am getting older, but don't want to look it!

I am thinking about Father's Day gifts already. I think I might get John some Callaway golf clubs and maybe even a set for myself. Then we can go out and golf together as one of our dates.  He would be thrilled if I actually take an interest in this.  Part of me wants to, but the other part remembers all the fussing they do over this sport.  It would be great exercise though, all that walking!!  I am all about walking as a form of exercise!

Where do you look for your hotel deals? I like to browse cheap tickets, travelocity, and expedia dot com. Of course this is if we are going to be traveling out of state. If we are going to stay within Michigan, then I will go web surfing at the various hotel chains we have.  The best hotel deal we received was for a Marriott while in Chicago.  We had went to Great America, and I had found online that if you saved your ticket stub from the park you could get a room for under $100!  I think we got it for $69.95.  And oh my!  What a room it was!!  It was gorgeous, and the bed was absolute heaven!!  I have never slept that well at a hotel EVER!

There are so many drug rehab facilities out there, how do you choose the best one for you loved one? Do you choose one that is close to your home? Or do you find one that is the farthest away, so its not as easy for them to check themselves out? I hope I never have to go this route with any of my loved ones, as I know it would be hard for me to send them away, especially if its far away.
