Here is the cake I decorated on Saturday at my cake decorating class.  I am quite pleased with how it turned out.  There is only one rose on it, as those are really, really hard to make!  

The shopping bug has bitten! I am wanting to get new bedding. Of course the hubby thinks what we have is just fine and I just need to stop. I can't help it! I saw some really pretty bedding in purple that I really want. I then could go hunting for the perfect purple fabric to make some curtains and to recover the throw pillows.   I really need to get a part time job, so I don't feel so guilty in wanting to spend all of my hubby's hard earned money!

I think they turned out pretty ok.

I love Spring time! Everything comes back to life again! I love seeing all the flowers pop out of the ground and the trees blossoming!

I can't wait for Saturday!  My last cooking class before our summer break will be all about cake decorating!  This out to be fun!  I can't wait to learn this new craft, so I can start to attempt to decorate cakes!! Who knows, this could branch out into a new business!

They are making corsets look really stylish these days. I have been browsing this site, and have found a few I would like to get. My hubby would really like them, but I don't think he will let me wear any of them out of the house, even the ones that look like tank tops!  I guess I will just to wear them for his eyes only!

I like using the vinyl exam gloves when I am cooking. I don't like feel of meat, and this saves me that slimy feeling. I usually buy in bulk for my meats, and then come home and separate it into different size packages, so I pull out the gloves handle the meat, then take of the gloves, seal up the packages, and go on with the next package.  It also helps with my hands not drying out from multiple washings.
