TV mounts

Posted by Jodi on Mar 31 2008 | Uncategorized

Christopher has been hinting around he would like a plasma mount for his TV. I told him that he would have to wait until Christmas. He really didn't like that, so I told him then he would have to go out and purchase one himself. He has a job right now and mom doesn't. I think things are finally starting to sink in with him.

Bunny Cupcakes

Posted by Jodi on Mar 22 2008 | Baking

I think I am going to make these up today.  They are too cute!

RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
A cupcake (baked from your favorite recipe)
White icing
Shredded coconut
Pink decorators' sugar
Jelly bean nose
Chewable Sweet Tart eyes
Large marshmallow

Mini marshmallows

1. Frost a cupcake (baked from your favorite recipe) with white icing and sprinkle on shredded coconut fur.

2. Cut a large marshmallow in half widthwise. Squeeze each half slightly to give it an oval shape, then decorate the sticky side of each one with pink decorators' sugar and set them in place for ears.

3. Add a jelly bean nose and either jelly bean or snipped Sweet Tart eyes, and mini marshmallows for cheeks. For a finishing touch, draw on decorators' gel pupils or whiskers if you like.

I will post a pic later after I finish them.

Simply Scratch

Posted by Jodi on Mar 21 2008 | cooking, Baking

I have been taking a cooking class that is being offered by a lady at our church.  She is an awesome cook, an I have loved every minute with her.  Our first class was spent making breads, rolls and cinnamon rolls.  It was just her and I, so it was lots of fun!  The next class was all about pies.  The next was soup making, oh yum!  Then we did breakfast!  She taught us how to make omelets!  This is one I was excited about, as I couldn't make an omelet to save my life!

Male supplements

Posted by Jodi on Mar 21 2008 | Uncategorized

There are some men out there that really need some testosterone boosters! I like my men to manly men! They can take these to help in weight training. As long as they don't over use this steroid they will be ok. I know of a relative that could use this right about now. I love him dearly, but he needs some help!

Diet aid

Posted by Jodi on Mar 21 2008 | Uncategorized

I am always looking for ways to help in my weight loss, that don't involve exercise. I know.. lazy, lazy! I used a weight loss product that helped in the past, but can't afford it right now. So I found this product, Curvelle. It says it helps burn fat. I am for that! I would much rather take a pill, then work my butt off on a treadmill. I am not into manual labor! I am going to need all the help I can get now, as I am no longer watching kids, so no more running around chasing them.

Nothing is in its rightful place

Why is it when you need a box cutter you can never find it? John got a shipment in, and I wanted to open it up. Who know where he puts thing in his area in the basement! I wanted to see what guitar stuff he bought this time, as I wasn't aware of him buying anything. The little sneak.   I finally got the box open to see that it was his pick ups. These I knew of, but thought he received them already. I can't wait for this guitar to be done so I can hear him play it!! He is such an awesome guitar maker!!

Vacation

Posted by Jodi on Mar 17 2008 | Uncategorized

Where are you going on vacation this year? I have so many places I would like to go and visit. I have never been to Texas, so maybe checking out the North Padre Island rentals would be a great start in where to go.  They have some really nice looking vacation rentals.  After our last family vacation to Florida, I will never stay in a hotel again. We were so spoiled in the rental home we chose. It was so nice to have a huge place to spread out. We were able to have a nice breakfast before we headed out for the day, and then were able to fix a nice dinner as well. A great way to save money while on vacation!
