A new project
I started a new project, even tho I have a few in the wings waiting for me to get back to.
These will soon be some cute little fingerless gloves, with a mitt attached to cover the fingers. Stayed tuned for the finished product.
Shopping for bath stuff
I have been looking at bathroom vanities and new bath tubs. Our tub casing needs to be replaced as we had a temper tantrum take place this last week. I would like to get a new vanity as well, ours is old and I have noticed a few cracks in it. Then our next purchase will be a water heater. It would make me happier if we knew that we would be staying in this house, but we aren't. It will be going on the market this Spring. I would just let things slide, but we just can't do this. I need to put a stop the the lovely little temper tantrums!
Sky photos
I have been taking lots of photos lately of the gorgeous sunrises we have been having here in Michigan. I am in awe at God's wonderous works!
I need to learn to make one of these!
My sister in law is the best! She crocheted me this lovely afgan for Christmas. I would love to be able to do this as well. So far I have only mastered small projects while crocheting. I can see me trying to do an afgan only to have it not be even in width the more rows I do.
Gifts
I wonder how many people got a plasma tv lift for Christmas this year? We are still on the lookout for something to get for Christopher for his TV he bought himself. Right now it is sitting on a speaker cabinet of my hubby's. Not the best things, but works in a pinch for us. He's bummed right now, as his TV isn't working, a part had to be ordered for it, and it is taking forever to come in. He is chomping at the bit, as he wants to play his new game for his Xbox 360 he got yesterday.
Working out
I want a treadmill. I am going to have to start saving. I want to get in shape before swimsuit season. We are still looking into possibly getting a membership at the YMCA. We have received a flyer in the mail from one of them for $100 bucks off the joining fee. I have to see if this can be used at the one closer to us, if so I am jumping on it! I could then do some swimming as well as working on treadmills. Trent is really forward to this, so I hope it pans out for us!
My oldest has moved back home and has his Plasma TV that he is in need of a plasma stand for it. I should have looked at getting him one for Christmas. I didn't even think of this. Right now he has it on a speaker cabinet of my hubby's, which isn't the safest thing. I can see the thing falling, when the cat tries to jump up there. I keep telling him to keep his bedroom door closed, but he keeps for getting. He won't forget if his TV gets ruined!
