Ohhhhh  I found a yummy recipe today on a Christian parenting board that I am going to try this weekend!

Don't these look yummy??

The recipe

Mix together 1/2 lb melted white chocolate coating, 1/3 cup peanut butter and 1/2 cup marshmallow cream. Roll in logs or balls, Freeze ( if you do not freeze these before dipping in caramel, they will melt and mix with the caramel) Dip frozen ball or log in melted caramel and roll in chopped peanuts.

PostHeaderIcon Wine of the month

Have you every thought about joining a wine of the month club? I am considering it, but for a gift for my father in law.  I like the different options Gold Medal Wine Club offers.  You can choose from Gold, Platinum, Diamond and International Series.  The prices aren't that bad either.  The Gold Series offers a red and white wine each month.  The wines are dry and they don't offer any sweet wines.  At times they will send 2 red wines.  You can choose to have only red or white wines if you prefer. The pricing is a little different if you opt to go this route.

They have a referral program that is pretty cool.  All you rave to do is send them their name and address and if the sign up you will receive an extra bottle of wine in your next shippment.  Also available is a reorder discount for additional quantities of featured wines for up to 45% off the direct prices.

In your shipments you will receive a fun and informative newsletter.   In this newsletter you will find fun facts about the wines and some recipes.

So if you have some wine lovers in your family, check out a wine of the month club as a gift for them this holiday season.

PostHeaderIcon Scrapbook pages

Today I have a friend over and we did some scrapbooking!!  I completed 10 pages (well 9.75 ~ I have to type up the class list and add it to the page).

I got Trents school scrapbook caught up to 5th grade.  I was thinking that this would be the last year in that book, as I didn't have any pictures of him in 6th grade.  But as I was digging through a stash of stuff, I found his cross country team picture and some awards and his honor roll ribbons.   So I will be able to continue for at least one more year with this book.

The next 2 pages are my sister in laws birthday

Then Thanksgiving with my brother, his wife and girls

 Then Christmas with them

PostHeaderIcon Tickets

I think it would be really fun to make a scrapbook page with Van Halen tickets as a way to surprise someone that they are going to go to the concert.  Then leave the second page open, but with designated spots to put pictures of the actual concert.  I am going to have to keep this in mine for any future concerts or events I go to with any of my friends or family.

PostHeaderIcon Lighting

I need to find some better light fixtures for the area I have my scrapbook stuff.  The halogen light I have is really bright, but it puts off way to much heat.  I would really like to get one of those specialized lights for scrapping.  I am going to have start a new savings envelope with all the things I want to buy.
